Directv was supposed to give me a refund after I disconnected serviceOf 143.43. They sent me a prepaid MasterCard for $10. I called their horrible client service and no i always called me back every bit they promised. They are liars and cheats and don't e'er subscribe.

The worst TV provider ever!!! Constantly raising prices for their service without notice. Customer service reps are rude until you cancel then they call non stop to get y'all to come back to their service. If yous use this service y'all will be very dissatisfied before yous finally end upward switching to another provider! I paid them over 125.00 on average every calendar month and was never late paying them because I was on the car payment programme. Delight salve yourself the headache and discover some other provider.

direct tv streaming is horrible! Information technology'southward a total ripoff. They consistently overcharged me, said they would correct the problem, and never did. I always spoke to someone with very bad English skills who could not understand me and who I could non understand. Why don' they send a written bill for your services? It's like dealing with the Mafia. I'm still disputing overcharges of about $1,000. Wish some chaser would file a class activity lawsuit against these crooks. ATT should exist ashamed for promoting this ripoff. My bank is after these folks now .

If I could leave negative stars, I would. I have received call after telemarketer call. We do not have internet or idiot box in our abode. And so I held for a live operator to request being taken off the listing. I have never been cussed out then badly in my life. If this company was an option before that, it would certainly exist changed after that call. I trust this review affects at least one person to not use them!! Apparently, their client service is the pits!!

Directv is a scam. They only attempt to suck money out of people for service or packages that they never asked for. I cancelled my service a couple weeks ago, merely because they don't prorate their services, I yet accept to pay for a whole calendar month before my service is cancelled. And the toll went upward. How convenient for them to heighten the price just equally I'm canceling my service. Their customer service is poor likewise as their packages & pricing. Do not sign on with them!

Took more than money after I cancelled
After cancelling my business relationship because I moved, DirecTV kept taking out money from my banking concern account. In one case I defenseless this, they said I cancelled DirecTV but not DirecTV Streaming. The amount taken from my business relationship after cancellation was basically the aforementioned as it was before I cancelled. At the very least they should have mentioned that those are two separate entities. They refused to refund my money even though they could verify I never used the streaming service.
Also, they never gave me a pre-paid return box for the former equipment or even an address to send it to. The only charged me for it without whatever notification at all. It was only through checking my back business relationship that I constitute out they took money from my account.
It gets worse. After using them for over 15 years, they charged me for an "early counterfoil fee". Without ever sending me a bill or contacting me in any mode, they sent this fee directly to a collections agency who immediately threatened to ruin my credit. I told them I didn't owe this fee and essentially they told me F-U.
When all was said and done DirecTV took out somewhere effectually $ m dollars from my bank account.
So was information technology a smart business determination to screw me? They got away with the one thousand bucks because you lot tin can't contend with a machine. Even talking with a human being rep, they acted similar information technology was too F**rex bad, just pay the money no thing how rational the argument against payment. I got the feeling they had this chat many times before.
They got the thousand bucks only lost me equally a client for the balance of my life, roughly 30 years or so. My kids will never use them then say 50 years each times two. Now we are up to most 130 years of not getting another cent from my family unit. Just wait, at that place's more! ATT owns DirecTV, there's some other 130 years of not getting a cent from those in my family unit. I've told friends and family unit well-nigh them and many of them will non use them or think twice before they do. Now anybody who reads this will know of my experience and my warning to them to avoid this visitor. I promise y'all all remember this experience when you ever consider either company.

This is the WORST. I wanted to abolish my service and stream to save money. I was paying almost $170/month. I called on 2/15/22 to cancel. Spoke to someone who told me how to return the ii receivers and i told him to just turn the service off immediately equally i was literally driving to Fed Ex that same day to drop off the receivers. He said he would have that done at midnight that day. Today, 3/2/22 i received a random electronic mail from Directv confirming my counterfoil? I called them and spoke to someone with cleaved English language (very difficult to understand). He kept telling me that today the order was put through to abolish later i CONTINUED to tell him that no, information technology was supposed to be done on the 15th of concluding calendar month. He put me on concord multiple times and one time came dorsum and had the audacity to tell me that because i had adept credit, he could give me a discount on service to stay with them! ARE Y'all KIDDING ME??? The call lasted 45 minutes and i had to only end it. I kept telling him that i shouldn't be charged for the service every bit information technology was turned off on the 15th. I even gave him the tracking numbers from Fed Ex that shows it was shipped back on the 15th. Long story long… he talked in complete circles, i never really got a straight respond and he told me to just wait two-3 billing cycles! WHAT??? i would NEVER E'er recommend Directv!

I started out with Direct Goggle box Satellite service. Good pricing and practiced aqueduct option. Then At&T bought them and I switching to internet merely service which cost me $10 per month. Corking deal. Then it went to $25.00, then $39.99, and then $59.99.
I went on chat month subsequently month complaining nigh the continued increases and they would give me a slight discount. my final experience was in December, 2021 where they promised me $25.00 per month off. This was applied 2 months in a row then on calendar month 3 I was charged $89.99. That was it for me. Broken hope later broken promise. Cancelled service and so they offered me l% off. No style would I always go dorsum to their service. At&T has hurt their reputation in my eyes and I am also moving my life time cellular service away from them.
Don't trust a word they say. Their rates are way over about other services now. With 5G serices offer streaming prices will keep to be forced downward and AT&T and Direct TV are non the company to partner with.

I was a happy client for over 10 years but I just cancelled my account for good. This company has completely gone down the drain since AT&T took ownership. Client service was outsourced and equipment upgrades disappeared. I gave them 2 opportunities to work with me to keep me as a customer and they were ignorant/rude/disrespectful. NEVER again bye DIRECTV. I found all the same programming through Roku channels for a fraction of the price.

All good at first, as long as yous accept a contract with them, simply equally shortly equally your contract is up, theyll upward the price of your monthly services x4 and screw you around every chance they get. Volition give yous an excuse they dont want their equipment back considering it's old, and send information technology to collection the 1st gamble they become to rip you off for as much as they possibly can. I owe them near $500 for a months worth of tv because I wouldnt sign another contract.
I wouldnt reccomend ever again, they're a joke, and I never got whatsoever of my discounts for recommending others either, they agree to $10 off a month for everybody you transport their fashion. I had 8 people sign up through usa and never recieved a nickle in return, always some bs excuse why.

Channels dropped or moved to a more than expensive plans. Lord forbid you demand a service call.
My last and final round came when my dish was bumped and needed to exist aligned. My starting time phone call was to a local authorized sales amanuensis, installer and service man. Sadly he informed me that he was no longer associated with Directv. It took several calls to customer service to make an date for someone to come out and set the dish. They talked me into a service contract to save on the service call. It was to be Calendar month to month. Figured it was ok since a repairman was scheduled within a couple days.
The day came... No Call! No bear witness!
This happened three three times. Only later calling to cancel my service did a repairman testify. Turned out he was from a city about 200 miles away. Close to a 3 hr bulldoze. He was able to have the service backup and running like information technology should adequately rapidly. All was good till I got the next pecker. They charged me for the service call plus 2 months worth of the service contract!!! Somewhen I was able to talk with an AT&T supervisor... cancelled the service... managed to have the service contract fees and service telephone call waived.
Just hither'southward the killer. At least in one case a calendar month DirecTV calls me. They want to sign me upwardly again. I accept repeatedly told to never telephone call me. Every time they call, I block the number they used to make the call. Doesn't matter, they bootleg another number.
Direct TV used to exist great
Direct TV used to be bully. But in the concluding 2years they play reruns that I saw 100 times in the 90s. I would definitely not recommend this service. I requested termination of service merely of form they got me for some other month and a one-half. NEW CUSTOMER BEWARE THIS SERVICE IS WORSE THAN COMCAST if thats possible i am watching Dr. Phil that's how bad information technology is. I could plough to two and a half men merely I know the words

HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. I Have SPENT 12 HOURS ON THE Phone TRYING TO GET A REFUND OF $525.
I had the service for less than 24 hrs and was charged this amount for "canceling the contract early!" Managers have told me the refund was "on the manner." That was 7 weeks ago. Ridiculous to get anywhere with them.

I was mislead into believing I would be paying $99.00 for tv and internet service together since I was an net suscribir already with AT&T. Upon receipt of my start bill I noticed I was paying $99.00 for television streaming and now paying for $fourscore.63 for internet service when I was supposed to be paying $l a calendar month for 12 months of internet service including taxes. When I called to abolish the directly tv portion of service I was told I had to pay AT&T $220.00 for the 2 streaming boxes provided by direct tv when they conectes services. Outrageous!!!

Very hard to accomplish a real person rather that a reckoner. Also during the difficult couple of years they have neither a covid or fiscal relief system in place for those of us who have lost our jobs and need a little mort fourth dimension in order to get cought upwards with out bills. I had to abolish my membership. Netflix, Hulu here I come I judge. Equally large as a company equally directv alnd att is I would expect more. Completely disappointed.
